Spring Reading

5 Apr

I love Spring :).

Not just for the gorgeous weather or for the end of a winter that seemed to be never-ending, but for the resurgence of outdoor reading. With the help of a little Allegra-D, I’m completely loving this time of the year for reading outdoors. I picked up my latest book on Saturday (sad to say, it was The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown) and hung out on the front step for a couple hours. Amazing 🙂

Also living in the DC metro area is great because I can take advantage of that great public green space otherwise known as The National Mall. And what’s great about it is that most tourists don’t know that they can actually walk on the grass so they’ll tend to stick to the paths — which makes me much less cranky. So does buying new books. I’ve been trying to be good in anticipation of the loot I’ll take home from BEA ’10, but I was in the bookstore the other day, and couldn’t help picking up a couple must-reads:

Once A Spy: A Novel The Male Brain How It Ended

But first I desperately need to finish my semester! Only two weeks left 🙂
